At the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), the Center for Literacy (CFL) is an organization involved in research, policy advising, and program development at the local, national, and international levels.

In partnership with DFSS, the CFL offers many services to Chicago residents, including but not limited to:

  • Parent and Family Engagement Programs

  • Literacy Development Programs for All-Ages

  • GED Programs

  • ESL Programs

  • Resources for Individuals with Autism & Developmental Delays

  • Teen Programs
